He also demands a transparent investigation into these violations and insists that those accountable be brought to justice.
Guterres additionally voiced his apprehension regarding Israeli airstrikes within Syrian borders, urging Israel to respect Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, Dujarric reported.
“The Secretary-General underscores that it is imperative to support a credible, orderly and inclusive political transition in Syria in line with the key principles of resolution 2254 (2015),” he added.
